Jayda Tisma, an aspiring and enthusiastic Animal Attendant at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at UNSW with ambitions to transfer into the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine course at USYD. Over the past three years at CAVH, Jayda has been applying her growing knowledge to real-life veterinary situations, making her an integral part of the team.

Emily Cook brings nearly eight years of dedicated service as a Veterinary Nurse to the Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital team. Her professional journey in veterinary care began with achieving a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing from Bankstown TAFE. Before joining the CAVH family, Emily gained valuable experience working in a pet shop and volunteering at various veterinary clinics and the RSPCA during her school years.

Photography from the University of Wollongong, and an ongoing Master's in Primary Education specialising in STEM from Western Sydney University, Bec brings a unique skill set to the team. Her experience in retail and education, combined with her role at CAVH since January 2022, showcases her adaptability and eagerness to learn.

Though not formally trained in veterinary practice, Bec's interest in the field is evident through her enthusiasm for learning on the job and observing surgeries. Her non-veterinary interests are equally diverse, spanning arts, robotics, and coding.

Though relatively new with one year of experience in veterinary care, Harrison's commitment to animal welfare and his team is unmistakable.

Harrison's special interests in veterinary medicine are still evolving as he gains more experience and knowledge in the field. He finds great joy in meeting baby animals, a highlight that adds a touch of excitement to his workdays.

Micah Papandrea is an enthusiastic and caring Animal Attendant at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital (CAVH). With Certificates 2 and 3 in Animal Studies from Yallah TAFE, Micah has honed his skills in animal care over the past year, focusing on meeting the basic needs of various animals.

His expertise is not limited to routine care; Micah is adept at running diagnostic tests such as blood and urinalysis, a testament to his technical skills and understanding of animal health.

His journey in veterinary care began with six months of volunteering, leading to his official start at CAVH in December 2022.

Lachlan's passion for veterinary care stems from his love for animals and his desire to make a positive impact on their lives. He finds great joy in assisting in their care and recovery, contributing to their well-being.

Jasmine Gauci is a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital (CAVH), known for her keen interest in animal health and welfare. Her educational journey at Yallah Tafe includes completing Animal Studies II, Animal Studies III, and Veterinary Nursing IV.

Jasmine's professional experience in the animal care field spans over two and a half years. Before joining CAVH, she worked in doggy daycare and fear-free practices, which have significantly contributed to her approach in veterinary nursing.
